Oh HELLO friends & HAPPY long weekend to you (well, if you’re in Canada)!
I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty pleased with myself right about now.
While the pandemic hasn’t stopped me from making ALL of the online beauty purchases, it has forced me to use what I have (crazy concept right?! haha).
Anyways, I’ve managed to use up a handful of goodies over the last few weeks + I thought I’d share my thoughts on each one and let you know if they’re worth purchasing yourself!
SO, if that sounds like something you’re interested in, well then just keep on reading!
NEUTROGENA: Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser

I’ve been using this Neutrogena face cleanser for YEARS so it’s no surprise that I’ve used up yet another bottle of this stuff!
It’s gentle, hypoallergenic and removes excess oil without disturbing skin’s natural moisture barrier. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and is free of parabens, phthalates & sulfates. This cleanser is available in two VERY different formulas, foaming and creamy. I’ve accidentally picked up the creamy one a few times and let’s just say ….

Will I Repurchase: Heck yes!
ESTEE LAUDER: Resilience Lift Night Cream

This stuff is pure magic + I’m kind of devastated it’s all gone. The Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Night cream is described as being an intensely nurturing, multi-effect night cream infused w/ tri-peptide complex to reveal a visibly plumped, supple, more resilient look while you sleep. It’s perfect for all skin types + helps with fine lines and wrinkles, dryness and acne/blemishes.
I’ve been applying THE tiniest little bit to my under eye area + forehead every other day and it’s lasted me since December. While I loved using this luxe face cream, I will say, I didn’t love how strong the fragrance was. But apart from that, it was SO lovely and I felt kinda fancy having it on my little skincare tray.
Will I Repurchase: That’s a big TBD from me! If I can find another mini of this magical cream then 100%, however I’ve just checked Sephora.ca and it’s $130 for a full size … sooooo … yeah, TBD haha.
MAC COSMETICS: Creme D’Nude Shade Scents

I can’t imagine NOT having this fragrance in my life, it’s just SO yummy! Described as capturing the vibrant sexiness of clean, radiant glowing skin through a cocoon of velvet musk, it really is THE most delicious vanilla scent.
Will I Repurchase: Yes yes yes, 100x yes!
TOO FACED: Lip Injection Maximum Plump

Ugh I don’t think I’ve ever gone through as many lip plumpers as I have since the start of this pandemic.
If I’m running out to the store (+ by store I clearly mean Shoppers Drug Mart since that’s the only friggen place I can go) I definitely opt for a less painful lippie, however from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, this is always on my lips. Once I’ve let it sink in, I top it with a thick balm and in minutes, my lips are, as they say *chefs kiss*. Since finishing this tube, I’ve purchased the Too Faced limited edition Extreme Bee Sting Lip Plumper and while it has the most gorgeous gold flecks throughout, it’s just not the same as this one!
Will I Repurchase: Oh I think that’s no brainer!
LANEIGE: Lip Sleeping Mask in “Mint Choco”

I, like many of you, LOVE the Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks.
They smell INCREDIBLE, they’re super hydrating and moisturizing and will plump up your lips in no time. This little mint green mini came in a set of 3 at Christmas time and while it wasn’t my favourite flavour from Laneige, I clearly loved it enough to finish it.
Will I Repurchase: Not this particular scent but I will, until my dying day, use the Lip Sleeping Masks!
MAYBELLINE: Sky High Lash Sensational

R.I.P to this last tube of Maybelline mascara that I finished, thinking it would be easy to repurchase. Since tossing this one out, I haven’t been able to find it anywhere and I think I have Tik Tok to “thank” for that one ughhh!
I’ve had a whole post on this heavenly mascara queued up for quite some time now, it’s THAT good. It’s lengthening, thickening and not over $20, so pretty much everything you could want in a mascara.
Will I Repurchase: If I can friggen get my hands on it, YES!
SEPHORA COLLECTION: AHA Firming Sleeping Cream

I have so many mixed emotions about this Sephora Collection moisturizer. The product itself is a dream however last time I checked, Sephora Collection still tested on animals, soooo I’m conflicted.
That aside, it’s the most thick, creamy moisturizer I’ve ever tried. It’s perfect for all skin types and nourishes the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Highlighted ingredients include:
– Natural Fruit Acids (AHA): Known for their exfoliating, softening properties.
– Peptides of Natural Origin: Known for their tightening and firming effect on the skin.
I do love that the product is vegan and comes in recyclable packaging, however, it’s the testing on animals for me.
Will I Repurchase: I’ll say no for now, but Sephora if you’re listening…come over to the cruelty free side and you’ll definitely have my business!
CHANEL: Rouge Coco Gloss in #804 “Rose Naif”

Yes I saved the best {empty} for last with this pricey little gloss from Chanel! Honestly, I can’t believe I actually finished it. This was one of my first purchases at the start of the pandemic after @insearchofaglow on Insta told me it would make my lips look newly plumped, which we all know I LOVE.
These Chanel glosses are SO luxe + mighty pricey ($44 CAD) for not a ton of product (5.5 g). But if you’ve got money to blow, then this is the gloss for you (haha)! But seriously, these glosses are moisturizing, creamy, super glossy + leave your lips feeling nourished and hydrated (thanks to the Hydraboost complex – aka jojoba, sunflower and mimosa waxes).
Will I Repurchase: Ugh while using this magical gloss was an absolute pleasure (and dream), I shan’t be spending that much on a gloss anytime soon!

And there you have it lovelies, a few of my most recent empties!
Have you used any of the goodies I mentioned??
Thank so much for stopping by & until next time,
