Hi friends & happy first day of Fall! 

Is anyone else as excited as I am that Fall is finally here!?! That being said, I just looked at the 7 day forecast & this weekends temps are looking a little more like summer than fall. Does that mean it’s too early to whip out the plaid scarves, ankle booties AND PSL’s?? Asking for a friend (haha!). 

Annnnnyways, I was looking through past blog posts + noticed that it’s been quite some time since I’ve uploaded a monthly favourites posts. And so, today I thought I’d share with you a few of the products that I’ve been loving lately!

BRIOGEO Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask  

Who knew the day would come where I’d beeline it for Sephora’s haircare section before even looking at… lipsticks!!! From shampoos to conditioners, serums to ALL of the hair masks, you name it I want it. But seriously, I’ve been so obsessed with everything haircare lately + if I do say so, my hair is looking like she’s thanking me for it. 

What started this new love affair you ask? One word. BRIOGEO. I randomly picked up this avocado infused mask from Sephora a couple of weeks ago and I don’t know who I should be thanking for this impulsive buy, but I am SO glad it made its way into my life. Not only does it smell SO incredible (like candy friends, like ACTUAL candy), but it makes my hair feel SO nourished and super smooth. 

Here’s what you need to know about this mask:

Kosasport LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm

If you’re looking for THE perfect lip balm, look no further than this balm from Kosas. But seriously, it’s incredible. Not only is the packaging super cute + sleek, but it has to be THE best stick balm I’ve ever tried. It’s incredibly hydrating and actually plumps the lips. Yes you read that right. It contains an ultra hydrating Hyaluronic acid that attracts water AND locks in hydration. It has a delicious minty scent and is cruelty free, gluten free and comes in recyclable packaging. 

These cute little Kosasport balms are available in the following 3 shades:

Baseline – clear 

Rush – sheer, cool pink

Pulse – sheer, warm tan 

This balm follows me around the house, guaranteeing that it’s always an arms reach away when my lips need an extra burst of hydration. 

So, if you like to steer clear of lipstick or glosses and are more of a balm kinda gal, I would 10000% recommend this one. 

HEMPZ Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai Herbal Body Moisturizer 

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I.LOVE.HEMPZ.MOISTURIZERS. I love these lotions so much that I’m confident I’ll never buy another moisturizer again that isn’t from the brand. The HEMPZ herbal body moisturizers not only smell incredible, but they are hands down THE most hydrating lotions I’ve ever tried. I’ve got one next to my bed, one in my bathroom, one in my purse AND one on my desk at work. 

These moisturizers are:

– gluten free

– paraben free 

– the perfect solution to help calm + soothe skin with shea butter and pumpkin seed extract 

– filled with Vitamins A,C & E to help protect against natural & environmentally triggered oxidants  

Now, this mini Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai moisturizer is perfect for Fall + that scent is definitely making all of my Fall dreams come true. 

QUO Blushes 

Not that long ago, I discovered…blush (and powder blush at that). As I started to introduce different blush shades into my makeup routine I discovered…CREAM blush (which, in my opinion is a whoooole other magical beast). 

Now, does anyone remember Shoppers Drug Marts in house brand, QUO Beauty? This summer, the brand went through a MAJOR overhaul and now their displays, packaging and products are incredible. Believe me when I tell you that the Featherweight Cream Blushes in particular (which are a total dupe for the Glossier Cloud Paints) are a must have in everyone’s makeup collection. They’re pigmented, blendable and are available in so many gorgeous shades. 

I love these blushes so much that I’m planning on uploading a full face of QUO Beauty on my blog in the not too distant future, so stay tuned for that! 

MEJURI Single Mini Hoop Earring  

When it comes to jewelry (and many other things), I’m about as basic as they come. I don’t like to wear a ton of it because for whatever reason, I start to fidget and become kinda claustrophobic with it on. Now, when it comes to earrings, that’s a whole other story. I couldn’t imagine leaving the house sans earrings…ugh the thought of it makes me cringe. 

Anyways, one trend I keep seeing on Instagram + Pinterest is this double hoop action that all the cool kids seem to be wearing. I think it looks SO simple and elegant and immediately enhances any look you’re going for. 

While I have my second holes pierced, it’s been years since I’ve worn anything in them. When I saw that Mejuri had the most gorgeous, small, gold hoops, well I took the plunge and purchased them (4 to be exact, as they’re only sold individually). 

Since they arrived, I haven’t taken them off! They’re perfect in every way. I forget that they’re even in because they’re so comfortable and I can sleep and shower with them in no problem. 

PATRICK TA Major Glow Softening Lip Masque 

I mean, can we just take a minute to appreciate THIS PACKAGING! “She’s Juicy” is one pretty little lady if you ask me (yes this balm is called “She’s Juicy”, I wasn’t being weird and giving it a nickname or something haha). I’ve only ever tried one other product from Patrick Ta and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t blown away. So when I heard the brand was coming out with a lip masque, I wasn’t super keen to get it. But like most things, this was a “I’m feeling blah + maybe I just need to buy a lip product to make myself feel better” kinda purchase. Annnnd now that I have it, I’m low-key obsessed. 

It’s described as being a lip masque created to lock in moisture and provide hydration for softer, smoother, and plumper-looking lips with no sticky residue. With ingredients like an Emollient Ester blend and vegan lanolin, this balm provides long-lasting moisture and shine while adding a super plump look to the lips..and I mean, who doesn’t want that?!  
Besides the texture and feel it has on the lips, it smells a bit like mint chocolate chip, which is a treat all in itself! 

P.S. This balm is free of sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances. This product is also cruelty-free and gluten-free.

TETLEY Cold Infusions 

I know this is going to seem super random but there’s no way I could talk about things I’ve been loving lately without including this heavenly new beverage from Tetley. As a lover of the Starbucks refreshers, this definitely caught my attention because it offers the same great taste but with NO sugar! 

So far, I’ve only tried the Raspberry & Cranberry flavor but they also have two others: 

– Strawberry & Watermelon 

– Mint, Lemon & Cucumber
