The secret to having it all is believing you already do!
Hi friends + happy Tuesday!
Hope you’re all doing well!
Now, while some people look forward to Christmas, their birthday or even Galentine’s Day (because let’s be honest, Feb 14th is SO much better when you spend it with your gal pals), I hang up my paper chain + count down the days until … the Sephora VIB sale! You know, the two times a year where EVERYTHING at Sephora is on sale (my heart skips a beat just thinking about it!).
While this may not exactly be the perfect time to splurge, if you’re going to do it, you might as well wait until all of your favorite makeup, skincare + self-care products are 10, 15 or even 20% off (depending on what tier you are – Insider, VIB or Rouge). Or if you need to further convince yourself, just do what I do and tell yourself that you’re helping the economy.
Now, in case you’re living under a rock & don’t know what I’m talking about, here are the details…

Oh, and in case you’re curious how you qualify for each tier…
To become a Beauty Insider, you’ve made one or two purchases with the Sephora rewards card (totaling under $300 in one calendar year).
In order to reach VIB status, you have to spend $350 in one calendar year.
Now, to reach the Rouge level, you have to spend $1000 in one calendar year (did anyone else just barf a little?!)
When you think about the different tiers, I like that as a Rouge (aka the crazy people spending way too much $$…aka ME) we’re rewarded with more savings. Because us sicko’s think 20% means that lip gloss is practically free, right?!
Anyways, that’s enough of that!
Now, unlike some other gals I know, I don’t go totally crazy during the VIB Sale. I mean, that’s probably because I’m constantly making orders so by the time the sale rolls around, I’ve already been shopping. I look forward to the sale so that I can try out products that I normally wouldn’t think to buy. As someone who’s also shifting to more of a “clean” beauty stash, now’s THE perfect time to dabble since that SH*T’s expensive (but don’t even get me started on that).
With just over a week left of the sale, I thought I’d put together a little list of must haves that you should definitely check out & ones that I’ll be adding to my own little virtual cart. Because let’s be real, it can be totally overwhelming to scroll through that website where they have literally anything & everything your little beauty loving heart could ever want.
So, to help take some of that shopping stress away, allow me to show you a few of the makeup, skincare + all things LIP goodies that I think you should totally spend your hard earned pennies on.
