A girl without beautiful nails is like a night without stars!
Happy Saturday lovely friends!
Let’s be real, the change in weather affects SO many aspects of our lives. From the way we dress to the drinks we order at Starbucks…and more importantly, the colors we choose for our nails!
Up until this year, I’ve been a “one shellac color for all of my nails” kind of a gal. That however changed with one magical trip to Relax Beauty Spa in Westdale Village a couple months back. If you follow me on Insta (@lipstickandbubbly – p.s. if you don’t follow me, you probably should!) then you will have seen the stunning reverse mani that I had done. In case you haven’t seen it, feast your eyes on the below nail pic *insert alll of the heart eye emojis*

I know I’m totally late to the party on this one (like welcome to 2019 Ashley). I’m not sure if it’s just my basicness (yes, urban dictionary says that’s a word haha) that has been stopping me from dabbling a little deeper into the crazy world of nails. But when I say this has been a total game changer…I mean…why would I ever want to have one color on my nails again? Case in point, the manicure below is what I have on my nails right now (w/ the 4 red nails + one sparkly gold nail). I’ve had so many compliments on them & can’t wait to start experimenting with more fun color combos + designs!

Anyways, with the cold weather fast approaching…pink Mentos colored nails (my go-to) just doesn’t seem right when I’ve got a grande PSL in one hand + a dark, vampy lip color in the other. And so my dear friends, to save you from hours of Pinteresting for fall/winter nail inspo, here are a few ideas that will hopefully inspire your next mani! And for the two or three gentlemen that I know are reading this post …pass these ideas along to your girlfriends, wives, sisters, friends…I guarantee they’ll totally love you for it!
So without further ado, here are a few nail looks I’m totally loving for fall/winter…

And there you have it friends! Do you have a go-to fall/winter nail color? Do you experiment with nail art at all?
Thanks so much for stopping by & until next time,
XO
