Insanely funny, incredibly fashionable …. oh and did I mention absolute #ladyboss?!
Since starting “Lipstick & Bubbly” I’ve made a real effort to connect with strong, likeminded women who are driven to create a life they’ve always dreamt of living. While I’ve been scrolling through social media in an attempt to connect with these women, I realized that what I was looking for was never that far away.
During my time at college, I had gotten a part time job working at the front desk of an insanely busy hotel in Niagara Falls. I really hit it off with Tonia, a girl who was around my age, who had recently moved to the Falls from Taiwan. Like me, she was attending the popular hospitality school so we already had a lot in common. We hit it off right away & almost immediately became besties. I was so upset when she told me she was moving back to Taiwan. We vowed not to lose touch but of course, life got in the way and our FaceTimes became few and far between.
In the last few months, we’ve made a point to send the usual “Hi long lost friend, how’ve you been bestie?!” text, hoping that would lead to our typical three hour long FaceTime date.
If you take a look at Tonia’s instagram (@tonia48), you’d understand why I totally consider her to be a #ladyboss! As a headhunting Regional Consultant, Tonia has worked with some of the world’s leading luxury brands. She’s gone to fancy store openings & new product launch events like:

> MIU MIU lady bag launch
> Chanel boyfriend watch launch
> Richard Mille Taiwan grand opening party
> H&M store opening party
When she’s not out walking the red carpet, her day-to-day tasks consist of: market mapping, lots and lots of researching & maintaining strong working relationships with her clients.
In my mind, 2018 is going to be the year of WOMEN; strong, motivated women supporting other women & their dreams. Don’t ever forget that you are capable of anything that you put your mind to!
