Soooo, who am I and what are we all doing here?
I’m a popcorn loving , YouTube watching, lipstick wearing, riddle solving, horror movie obsessed blonde who’s just trying to figure out this crazy thing called life.
Growing up in a small town, life seemed so simple and straightforward. Boy, was I wrong.
Simply put, ADULTING IS HARD WORK!
With no instruction manual, you’re expected to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life (pretty much overnight), live this exciting Instagram worthy lifestyle, all while trying to meet “THE ONE” and saving money so you can move out of your parents house.
If you feel like you’ve got it all figured out, hook a sister up and put me out of my misery!
From hotel front desk agent to server to wedding planner and now flight coordinator, I can’t say that I’ve truly found my calling and at 29, I’m told that I should have it figured out by now. The truth is, I don’t, but I’m also not sure EVERYONE else does either.
For years, I’ve read blogs and watched some of my favorite YouTubers talk about their lives and the things that bring them joy and a sense of fulfillment. In the back of my mind, I’ve always thought, man I wish I could do that. The truth is, I never thought I could. I swept that dream back under the rug and tried to forget about it.
It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I had to take a moment to ask myself what I was doing with life. I found myself waking up, going through the motions but not having any true excitement or feeling of purpose in my life. All of that changed the moment I decided to take the plunge and start this blog.
So here goes!
